The KSD Education Foundation collects items on behalf of the KSD Back to School Resource Fair, the KMO Kloset, and the KMO Kanteen to supply KSD students and families with essential resources such as food, clothing, and school supplies. 

We aim to help equip the Kearney School District social workers and counselors with the resources they need to address students' immediate and emergency needs. Throughout the year, we gratefully accept donations of gently used clothing (all sizes), spirit gear, hygiene products, school supplies, non-perishable food items, and monetary contributions to support these vital organizations.

Monetary donations help pay for meals for students who don't qualify for free and reduced lunch but still need help, cover KHS yearbook costs for those who need assistance, and help pay for kids' haircuts.

We also accept band instruments in good condition. These will be made available to check out by students who otherwise may be unable to participate due to cost.

CLOTHING/HYGIENE ITEMS NEEDED: 

Clothing and hygiene items are given to students to keep for their personal use. Clothing items may be gently used unless otherwise noted. 

• Socks and underwear - Must be new (all sizes) 

• Jeans and leggings (all sizes) 

• Jackets and winter coats (all sizes)

• T-shirts, sweatshirts, and long-sleeved shirts (all sizes)

• Athletic Wear (all sizes)

• Tennis shoes and boots (all sizes)

• Hygiene Supplies - Must be new (Deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, laundry soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, lip balm, dental floss, lotion, sunscreen, hairbrushes, hair clips/ponytail holders, toenail and fingernail clippers, sanitary products, etc.)
