Teacher Innovation Grants (TIGs) enable teachers to create new, innovative programs in their classrooms. These programs would not be possible within the current school district budget, and the Foundation helps to make these programs a reality.  In 2018 KSDEF was able to fund all the grant requests.

The Foundation sponsors scholarships for graduating seniors to help fund their continued education. Scholarships are given to students interested in continuing their education at either a two year or four year institution.

Fund requests can be submitted by various groups within the school district. The Foundation has been responsible for financially supporting groups such as the music department, National Honor Society, Robotics Club, and numerous other groups and initiatives.
