Recognizing the Educators Who Inspire Our Students

Every day, Kearney School District teachers and staff members make a difference in the lives of students. They create meaningful learning experiences, build connections, and go above and beyond to support student success.

Each year, Kearney School District selects a Teacher of the Year and Staff Member of the Year to recognize outstanding educators who demonstrate dedication, leadership, and a commitment to serving students. KSDEF is proud to support these awards by providing financial recognition for the honorees and grants that benefit their schools.

The Teacher of the Year receives a $250 cash award and a $750 grant for their school to support student learning opportunities. The Staff Member of the Year receives a $250 cash award and a $250 grant for their school. These grants allow the honorees’ impact to extend beyond recognition and directly support the students and educators in their buildings.
