Teachers play a key role in student achievements. That's why we support them with resources to help students succeed. Using various avenues, we work to increase graduation rates and enhance teacher effectiveness through classroom grants and scholarships.

Scholarships
The Foundation offers scholarships to support graduating seniors pursuing higher education. These scholarships are available to students who enroll in universities, state colleges, technical colleges, or vocational programs to help defray the cost of tuition.
Teacher innovation grants
Teacher Innovation Grants (TIGs) enable teachers to create new, innovative STEAM-based classroom programs. These programs would not be possible within the current school district budget, and the Foundation helps to make these programs a reality.
special requests grants
Various groups can submit fund requests within the school district. The Foundation has financially supported groups such as the music department, National Honor Society, Robotics Club, and numerous other groups and initiatives.
KSD Education Foundation is committed to enriching the education provided to all students by Kearney School District. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported by private donations.
