SCHOLARSHIPS

The KSD Education Foundation is proud to support students through various scholarships made available through the generosity of our business and community donors. Each spring, KSDEF awards five scholarships worth $1,000 each to students who intend to enroll in universities, state colleges, technical colleges, or vocational programs to help defray the cost of tuition expenses.

In addition, we are honored to manage scholarships on behalf of local businesses and individuals within the Kearney community. Scholarships are a wonderful way to give back, allowing for tax-deductible donations while aiding students in their educational pursuits. Establishing a scholarship with KSDEF is both simple and rewarding, as we encourage sponsors to set eligibility criteria and actively participate in selecting deserving recipients. Each spring, Kearney High School hosts a Senior Awards Night to present scholarships and celebrate student achievements, providing sponsors with the opportunity to meet the recipients of their scholarships.
