The Special Allocations Grant is a funding opportunity designed to inspire and assist various groups seeking financial backing for their projects within the school district. This support extends to a wide range of groups and initiatives, from the music department and National Honor Society to the Robotics Club and various other groups.

Every year, educators from KSD schools submit grant applications of up to $1,500 to support their teaching concepts. The Special Allocations Grants program brings these concepts to life in classrooms, benefiting students when alternative funding isn't available.

Over time, KSDEF grants have positively impacted KSD teachers, students, and parents by creating better learning environments, narrowing achievement gaps among students, and introducing new teaching technologies.
