The KSD Education Foundation (KSDEF) brings together local businesses, families, staff, and community members to create educational opportunities outside of the district budget for Kearney students and educators. As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working alongside the Kearney School District, we turn community support into resources and experiences that enrich learning beyond the district budget.

Through scholarships, grants, community events, and programs like Grow Your Own, we bring creative, hands-on ideas to life in our classrooms, support student activities like robotics, help students as they plan for their futures, and invest in the next generation of educators.

We're proud to connect the generosity of our community with the needs and possibilities within our schools.

Our Impact

KSDEF has provided more than $700,000 in funding and impacted over 10,000 students through scholarships, educator grants, and other educational opportunities.

Each year, we help teachers bring innovative, hands-on learning experiences into their classrooms, provide scholarships for graduating seniors, and support programs that benefit students and educators across the district.
